        General Meeting  First item: Developing our committees: What do members want to participate in and how can we actualize it? At least 3 people per committee They should have individual meetings and then bring up those concerns to the group There are trainings available for all members through the national branch We should have a branch goal for the year and committee goals for the year Sit down as a branch and plan out the whole year An email will be sent out about the committees that need to be filled All committees should have a form they fill out to inform the branch of what they’re doing Maybe a questionnaire sent with the committees list to see what people are passionate about Environmental Committee Health Committee 5 members now Helping people get the vaccine through Corner Stone A conversation with Dr. Mill 3/23/21 Some issues can be connected to the Environmental Committee Education Committee The schools in our community especially will need our help after Covid We need

      Mid Hudson Times Police committee chairs want better communication Posted Wednesday, December 30, 2020 2:54 pm By CLOEY CALLAHAN The Executive Order 203 Oversight Committee, specifically chairman Ray Harvey and Malvina Holloway from NAACP, the Newburgh-Highland Falls Branch, have expressed their concerns on the City of Newburgh and its coordination and communication with the committee. Holloway and Harvey are calling for a more transparent collaboration for the committee, the city government and the public. Currently, there is no action plan put in place and the committee has been calling on the city to make changes for the committee, which would in turn allow them to work smoother and create a sound plan for the April 1 deadline they face as per Governor Andrew Cuomo’s orders.         The Supervisory Committee has sent ballots to emails. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR YOUR BALLOT TO VOTE IN BRANCH ELECTION !   General Body Meeting Date:  12/12/2020 Meeting called to order: 5:34 Location:  Attendees:  Glenda Bubb, Sabrina Dolfinger, Vanessa Dolfinger, Claire Dowdy  Ray Havey, Mary Kostenblatt, Melly Holloway I . Branch Elections National will subsidize  ---Election Buddy      Training was attended Dec.3   Voting Window  Dec 17th 8am - Dec 23 8pm---Results would be tallied Dec. 24th Emails will be sent stating time and dates/details May 1st is the membership eligibility date---to be a candidate; 30days from the election to vote therefore anyone as of Nov 17th is allowed to vote  Any position not filled ---Secretary, Assistant Sec.
